Many students faced personal challenges during the week. We took part in activities we had never tried before.
We canoed 15 km down the River Wye; we saw lots of wildlife and also passed by an area of the Forest of Dean which was used in a Harry Potter film! Students who were scared of heights managed to climb the 40 foot high climbing wall.
Many students also abseiled down the climbing wall. It was much higher when you were at the top. During the canoe expedition, some students (but no staff!) were ‘brave’ enough to take a leap of faith and stood up on the front of the canoe before jumping in the (quite cold) river!
