Our first ever 'Learning Exchange Event' was a resounding success, with 14 families in attendance, including mothers, fathers, grandparents, brothers and sisters!
The evening provided a relaxed forum, where teachers were able to exchange a range of learning and teaching skills; sharing methodologies that parents could easily adopt themselves as a means of supporting their child's learning.
Feedback from those in attendance reflected the positive atmosphere of the evening:
"It went really well, the evening helped the family and the children all bond and become closer."
"I loved it!"
"I enjoyed being able to share my work with my parents."
"Lovely to exchange and get to know the teachers and other parents."
"Good fun for all."
It really was a pleasure to watch our families working and learning together. A very big thank you to all who attended.
Hopefully we will see even more of you at our next Learning Exchange Event, we will also take on board your suggestions for next time, especially Khalid's request for "more cake!"
