Getting involved with the website

For the past few weeks I have been supporting the school, as a volunteer, with the school website. Our new website offers a glimpse of what life at Wapping High School is like, vibrant, enthusiastic and supportive. Establishing excellent communication with parents is a top priority for the governing body this year and the website will play a key role in that. Important information will be posted on the school’s News Blog and stories about great things going on in the school will be posted on the Wapping Highlights Blog. The Upcoming Events page, Twitter and Instagram are all being used to keep you up to date.

Students are getting involved with the Website too. I was delighted to receive an email from the Year 7 ‘Project Based Learning PR Executive of website’ (what a fantastic title) asking me to post a press release that she and her fellow students had written. The email was so well written that for a moment I thought it had come from a member of staff.

Parents, we’d love you to be involved. The best way is to follow the school’s Twitter and Instagram accounts and email the school with any feedback.
